Learn a new language, or practice a language you’ve taken classes for before and haven’t gotten back to.
How?
- Watch movies in that language.
- Go practice at Livemocha.com, a great place to go practice with all kinds of audiovisual exercises. The best part? It’s all free.
- Read a book you already know and love in that language. I did that with 1984.
- Get together with a group of friends and chat in that language. You can also go to different restaurants that serve said country’s native food.
