That is one excellent approach you're planning to take with your blog, Nut. I think we all need to be reminded sometimes that we should be writing for us, not for the fame or money. Good luck with your new approach to the blog; I'm sure your posts will be even better because of it.

This makes blissfully perfect sense.

I for one appreciate the concept and support the decision. It is hard to break free from the cycle, but is also very liberating when you do. It's just so hard to watch others grow in popularity so fast while other great writers do not, simply because they decide to take this route. I suppose in the end it will all work out though, so no worries!

This is something I know, something I try to remind myself of, but is also something that requires continual focus since it can be forgotten somewhat easily!

Godspeed Nut.

Thanks Nate! I appreciate the kind words! This just feels truer to what I'm trying to accomplish.

Good post. I think we're in the same boat Nut. I stopped posting every day a few weeks ago. I still have a weekly posting schedule, but it offers more flexibility.

I lost some readers this way, but I found something I was happy with. I don't like second rate articles as much as you, so I'm much more content to edit the potatoes out of an article and then post it. Much better writing I think.

Congrats on the move, I look forward to your *new* stuff
