Welcome to the Carnival of Top Personal Finance Posts! Most blog carnivals have gotten to the point where there are just too many posts and no one has the time or the patience to read through all of them. Besides, most of the time it’s just bloggers that want to get more links pointing back to their site. Rarely is it about sharing great content.

Which is why I’m so excited to be hosting this carnival because it’s a totally different spin on the whole Carnival system. I’ve picked six of the best posts I could find over the past week and it’s up to you, the reader, to vote and decide which one is the winner.

Cash Money Life reminds us to think long term—something I’ve been chewing on a lot lately.

Frugal Dad’s image says it all—ignorance will keep you from achieving your goals.
Being Frugal takes a look at Dave Ramsey’s gazelle intensity and points out that we still have to live our lives.
ChristianPF shows us how surviving the recession is all about adjusting and being flexible in everything we do.
