Free MP3s and Great Video Game Deals at Amazon
Whenever I can, I do my shopping through Amazon: it’s easy, it’s cheap, and it lets me avoid all those crazy crowds out there. I’ve had my fill after Black Friday. And right now they’ve got some great deals on music and video games.
Free MP3s
They’re giving away 25 free MP3s in 25 days. This started yesterday and I don’t see why everyone wouldn’t just go and get the 25 free songs. For those of you that download songs illegally, this is a no brainer. Even if you’re not a huge fan of the song, it’s free and it’ll help expand your horizons to try something new (I call it “Boggling your brain”).
Today’s song is Tori Amos track I’ve never heard of, but I’ve already downloaded it. Free, baby!
Video Game Deals
Same thing here: one deal a day for 18 days on all kinds of games. What I would do: keep an eye out for a game you’re likely going to buy anyway. If it shows up: go for it. If not, don’t jump in and buy a junky game because it’s on sale. It’ll wind up like my copy of MLB Power Pros: lonely, sad, and gathering dust.

- Check out their Best Music of 2009 to see if you missed anything major. It could be a good gift for friends and family or a nice present for yourself.
- As a book lover, I have to throw out the Best Books of 2009 too: there are some books there that I’m really excited to get to.
